School Committee
I am Rajesh Velagapudi, requesting your vote for the Shrewsbury School Committee on May 6, 2025 (Tuesday).
As a parent of two kids (Grade 8 and Grade 3), I am proud of our School District and where we stand. I also see improvement opportunities to meet students' current and future needs.
Since we called Shrewsbury "home" in 2009, I have volunteered in several school and town committees. I feel strongly about giving back to the community by sharing transferable skills and knowledge to improve society, and I have always enjoyed working with my fellow committee members.
I have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and professional experience translating research into products that help patients and the public improve their health and quality of life. I want to bring diverse perspectives based on my personal and professional experiences.
