I am Rajesh Velagapudi, a Shrewsbury resident since 2009 and a parent of two kids (Grade 6 and Grade 1) in SPS. I am proud of our town and School District and where we stand. I also see improvement opportunities to meet residents/students' current and future needs.
Since we called Shrewsbury "home" in 2009, I have volunteered in several school and town committees. I feel strongly about giving back to the community by sharing transferable skills and knowledge to improve society, and I have always enjoyed working with my fellow committee members.
I have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and professional experience translating research into products that help patients and the public improve their health and quality of life. I want to bring diverse perspectives based on my personal and professional experiences.
